Clare Cannon saddled her first Flat winner and her second all told when Coreczka landed the irishinjuredjockeys.com Apprentice Handicap under Oisin Orr at Dundalk.
The victorious 12/1 chance got a good run down the outer, whilst the favourite Kodiac's Back had to switch right from a furlong and a half out to secure 'clear sailing.'
Kodiac's Back was grabbing Coreczka back at the finish but the latter held on by half a length.
"That's my only Flat horse and the first Flat horse I've had from the start," said Miss Cannon.
"I've mostly had jumpers and I'm delighted she got there eventually. I've only got three at the moment so it's good to get a winner."
