Cotai connections bid for Goodwood Glory Cotai Glory is to be stepped back up to Group-race company at Glorious Goodwood after making a promising comeback at York. Trainer Charlie Hills is targeting the three-year-old at the Group Two Qatar King George Stakes on July 31 after finishing a close third in the Listed City Walls Stakes on the Knavesmire last weekend. It was the son of Exceed and Excel's first outing since finishing down the field in the Prix de l'Abbaye at Longchamp in October. Hills said: "I could not be more pleased with Cotai Glory. He had an injury over the winter as he chipped a pedal bone, so he spent all winter in his box. "He will now probably run in the King George Stakes at Goodwood and all being well he will then head to York for a shot at the Nunthorpe. "He is a really exciting horse."
