Crawford team primed for Perth Stuart Crawford has long made full use of his location in the port town of Larne, Co Antrim, to make successful raids on Scotland and he has plenty in with chances at Perth's Sunday meeting. Run With The Wind comes back to defend the Mackie's Family Fun Day Sundae Handicap Chase (for the Perth Silver Cup) that he won by a short head last year. He warmed up for this by finishing second to long odds-on favourite Clarcam in a hurdle race at Down Royal in mid-June. Crawford said: "He won this last year and it has been his early-season target. Down Royal was a good enough starting point to blow away the cobwebs. "He has been creeping up in the handicap and realistic targets are few and far between. He is pretty exposed but the fact he has won around Perth is good." Knocklayde Sno Cat has incredibly been beaten by a short head in her last two maiden hurdles at Perth and Cartmel. She is entered in the two-and-a-half-mile novice hurdle and the three-mile handicap hurdle. Crawford said: "She may be better treated in the novice hurdle and could go for that. She deserves a bit of luck after her last two runs." Novo Dawn holds entries in the two-and-a-half-mile novice hurdle and the two-mile maiden hurdle. Crawford added: "He could go for the maiden hurdle and is going the right way. He is a horse that looks like he will be better off over fences." Dr Moloney goes for the three-mile novices handicap chase after being beaten a length into third over course and distance at the end of last month. Crawford said: "The last day was the plan. He lost out in a three-way finish. That has probably been his best ever run. He would have a good chance as he has been mixing with seasoned handicappers. He will need a bit of luck, though." Crawford introduces Stowaway filly Toberdowney in the bumper and said: "She'll go. She's a nice filly and I like her. She wants a nice bit of ground." Shemay is in the two-mile maiden hurdle after finishing sixth in Gowran Park and seventh at Punchestown. Crawford said: "She has come off the Flat. She probably ran better in Gowran and that was a winners' race. She is only finding her feet and will probably need a run or two. I am hoping she will be competitive in the late summer maiden hurdles."
