Culhane Hits 1,000 Tony Culhane reached a career milestone when he rode his 1,000th domestic winner aboard Bazelle in the No 5p Rule 4s At Betdirect Maiden Stakes at Wolverhampton. The jockey had been stuck on 999 since winning on Jackie Kiely at Southwell on November 8. Culhane said: 'Obviously I´m delighted. It´s a great achievement for me and I never thought 20 years ago when I started riding that I would ride 1,000 winners but at the end of it I´m still only 36.'(C) PA Sport
