Cyclone has November Handicap target Shark Hanlon's top-class chaser Hidden Cyclone could revert to the Flat for a tilt at the November Handicap at Leopardstown. The 10-year-old bolted up on his first ever start under Flat rules at Foxrock in early July before aiming to exploit a favourable mark over the smaller obstacles in the Galway Hurdle. Hanlon's stable star ran his usual solid race at Ballybrit, finishing a creditable fourth behind Quick Jack, and he is now set to return to a track where he has run some of his best races. "He's going to get a bit of a break now and I'd say he'll come back for the November Handicap in Leopardstown," said the County Carlow handler. "He seems to love Leopardstown. He's a great horse for me and the yard - he never lets us down. "Probably what let us down in Galway was his jumping. He hadn't run over hurdles for four years and he just jumped too big. "When you're in a race like that, you have to have everything go right for you. If you don't, you're in a losing battle straight away." Hidden Cyclone is likely to return to the chasing game after the November Handicap, but Hanlon is not ruling out another crack at hurdling at some stage, with the lucrative Boylesports Hurdle in January already a potential target. He told Betfred TV: " He'll go for the November Handicap and then he'll go for the John Durkan over fences, which is another Grade One. "If he wins that he'll maybe go back to Cheltenham again for either the Ryanair or the Champion Chase. We haven't even thought about it yet. "There'a a very good pot in Leopardstown in January, the Boylesports Hurdle. I'd like to come back and take that pot if I could. "He's a Grade Two horse - he'll win them every day - we just don't seem to be able to get a Grade One with him."
