Dandy provides McAteer with a welcome winner Yellow Dandy got her trainer Liam McAteer off the cold list, as she took the fourth race at Ffos Las this evening, the RSS Group Handicap with Martin Harley in the saddle. McAteer, who trains in Navan, was recording his first win since scoring with That's A Fret (who runs in the 7.30) at Catterick back in October of last year. The daughter of Kheleyf faced just three rivals as Highland Colori was earlier taken out. She raced in rear early on but settled the contest in a matter of strides when produced with her challenge, going on to score by four and a half lengths. The 3yo was recording her second win at Ffos Las in as many starts having won her maiden over the course last September. After running consistently in her seven starts this year, she was returned the 15/8 favourite. Donal Murphy
