Success Days is pleasing trainer Ken Condon as the dual Derby trial winner builds towards a return to the track.

The Jeremy colt shot to prominence with a surprise success in the Ballysax Stakes at Leopardstown in April and repeated the trick in the Derrinstown Stud Trial the following month.

That led connections to supplement him for the Investec Derby, but he sustained an injury when last of the 12 runners and has not run since.

Condon said: "Success Days is doing well and is in his third week back cantering.

"He also swam for a few weeks before that. He didn't put on much weight and we are aiming at a Group One in Germany in November.

"Soft ground is obviously very important to him and I would like to get in a prep run in October about three or four weeks beforehand.

"There is a race in Newbury that could suit him."
