De Boinville hospitalised after fall Nico de Boinville has been taken to hospital for further assessment of an arm injury sustained in a fall at Cheltenham. De Boinville was unshipped from Le Reve at the second fence in the extended three mile three handicap chase, with the horse subsequently running across a fence and bringing down three other runners on the second circuit of the race. While Cogry, Midnight Prayer and Racing Pulse, as well as their respective riders Ryan Hatch, Wayne Hutchinson and Jonathan Moore, all escaped injury, De Boinville was not so fortunate. Cheltenham's communications manager Sophia Dale said: "Nico has been taken to Gloucester Royal Hospital for further assessment and treatment on an arm injury. "All other jockeys from that race are fine, as are the horses." De Boinville is the regular partner of 2015 Cheltenham Gold Cup hero Coneygree, who is pencilled in to make his return to action in next week's Betfair Chase at Haydock.
