Henry De Bromhead reports his Cheltenham winners Heart Wood and Air Of Entitlement to have come out of their respective races well, with the Aintree festival now in the trainer’s plans.

Heart Wood’s Grade 1 Ryanair Chase win on March 12 was followed a day later by Air Of Entitlement’s Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle success, with each horse now being entered at Aintree.

De Bromhead reports “Heart Wood will go to Aintree for the 2m4f Melling Chase and Air Of Entitlement will be entered at Aintree and also Punchestown. Both seem good since Cheltenham and the four weeks break between both festivals is as good as you can get.

"Air Of Entitlement will be entered for both the 2m4f (Mersey Novices) and the three-mile (Sefton Novices) races at Aintree so we'll see."

Heart Wood had previously finished third at the 2024 April festival when chasing home subsequent Gold Cup-winner Inothewayurthinkin in the (3m1f) Mildmay Novices Chase, while dual Cheltenham festival-winner Air Of Entitlement has been raised 5lb by the Irish handicapper to 144, following her latest success.
