Defy Logic Fatally Injured Paul Nolan's stable star Defy Logic has suffered a fatal injury on the gallops. The JP McManus owned son of Fleminsfirth has only recently returned to training having missed all of last season due to a tendon injury. Speaking from his Toberona Stables, Nolan confirmed the news: "He was doing a routine warm-up when he was fatally injured. It is a massive blow to the stable. "We were delighted to have him back in training, having missed all of last season and to have him so close to a return to the track is sickening. "I've spoken to Frank (Berry) and everyone connected with the horse is devastated. But that is horse racing and we just have to be thankful for the great days that the horse gave us. The eight year old won four of his nine starts under rules, including the Grade 1 Racing Post Novice Chase at Leopardstown in December 2013. By Robert Moorehouse.
