Demon Target Depends On Weather Henrietta Knight will continue to monitor the weather before making a decision as to where Racing Demon will run at the weekend. The six-year-old holds three entries on Saturday, including high-profile engagements in the Betfair Chase at Haydock and the totesport.com Peterborough Chase at Huntingdon.Knight is also considering the Amlin 1965 Chase at Ascot, but with conditions at the Berkshire venue and Huntingdon on the quick side, the Wantage trainer could have her hand forced. She said: 'He will definitely run somewhere this weekend but we can't make up our minds where. It will depend on the weather.'If it rains enough he could for the Peterborough Chase but two courses are good to firm at the moment and we don't want that.'We will just have to wait and see what comes out of the clouds.'Racing Demon ended last season on a disappointing note when well out of the frame in the Arkle at Cheltenham and he parted company with Graham Lee at the fourth fence on his reappearance at Exeter.Knight added: 'He's absolutely bouncing. He didn't really do anything that day except interfere with poor Chilling Place. He's in great form.'Although Racing Demon was an early casualty in the William Hill Gold Cup Chase, stablemate Impek went on to win the extended two-mile-one-furlong contest in style. He was due to run in the Peterborough but a muscle problem has ruled him out.Knight told At The Races: 'The vets have been having a look at him to see what we're going to do with this muscle problem.'It's sort of like a tweak you get when you overextend yourself.'I think he's tweaked himself when reaching for a fence as he jumped so exuberantly at Exeter.'He's nearly right but he's just not quite all right. Hopefully he will be ready for the King George.'? PA Sport
