Derby On The Agenda For Glory Boy Asiatic Boy will go in search of more Classic glory on Dubai World Cup night following his impressive success in the UAE 2000 Guineas at Nad Al Sheba last night. With two of his rivals pitching badly at the start, the Argentinian-bred colt was soon tracking the pace under a supremely-confident Johnny Murtagh before being eased to the front over two furlongs out.He was never in any danger thereafter, with Stan Moore's Traffic Guard running a big race to snatch second on the line.South African trainer Mike De Kock said: 'That was a pleasing effort and he is a seriously nice horse.'He may go for the Al Bastakiya next, but the UAE Derby is the obvious target and he will stay the extra distance. I won both races with Victory Moon in 2003 and it would be nice to do so again.'Murtagh added: 'That is a serious horse. I rode him work the other day and was impressed and he has certainly shown his worth tonight.'He's the best three-year-old I've ridden since I've been in Dubai. He stretched away really nicely.'He will stay further and is an exciting prospect.'(C) PA Sport
