Dettori stood down for the day Frankie Dettori was stood down for the day after suffering a fall prior to the opening race at Yarmouth. The popular Italian was due to partner the John Gosden-trained Tivoli in the six-furlong fillies' maiden when he was unshipped in the parade ring. Tivoli was withdrawn and Dettori, who appeared to be holding a shoulder following the incident, did not take up his only other mount aboard Falak in the following race. Yarmouth clerk of the course Richard Aldous said: "As far as I'm aware, the doctors have told me that they have looked at him and how he is and they are happy for him to go home."
