Dobbin takes a break

Tony Dobbin will be out of action until next Wednesday due to a niggling shoulder problem.

The Ulsterman, third in the British riders` championship last season, has aggravated an injury he suffered last week.

His agent Richard Hale said today: 'Last Wednesday he fell on his shoulder at Perth and didn`t ride for the rest of the meeting. Then he rode on Friday OK but on Saturday it got yanked jumping a hurdle and he had to pull up.

'And when he was schooling yesterday he wasn`t happy with it so he is getting some physio and he will take a week off.

'There is nothing broken, it is just a wrench. But there is nothing really for us up north over jumps until next Wednesday.'
