Domination lived up to his name when pulling away from the opposition to take the Betfred Cesarewitch Trial Handicap at Newmarket.

The Charles Byrnes trained son of Motivator, came with a rattling run to head the favourite Courtesy Call a furlong out.

The 13-2 chance powered clear to score by four and a half lengths to give jockey Niall McCullagh another big-race success after his win in last weekend's Irish St Leger on Royal Diamond.

Eagle Rock was a length away third with Dark Ranger fourth.
