Don among 10 for Down Royal showpiece Don Cossack is the star name among 10 horses still in contention for the JNwine.com Champion Chase at Down Royal on Saturday. A brilliant winner of the Melling Chase at Aintree and the Punchestown Gold Cup at the end of last season, Gordon Elliott's stable star picked up where he left off when he made a smooth reappearance at Punchestown earlier this month. Elliott has also left in fellow Gigginstown House Stud-owned chaser Roi Du Mee. Gigginstown could also be represented by the Noel Meade-trained Cheltenham Gold Cup third Road To Riches, winner of this race 12 months ago, and Wounded Warrior from the same stable. Meade could also call upon Texas Jack. Rebecca Curtis has left in Irish Cavalier and O'Faolains Boy, while David Pipe has the option for Dynaste. The Paul Nicholls-trained Rocky Creek and The Young Master from Neil Mulholland's stable complete the entries.
