Shutthefrontdoor will aim to win a second BoyleSports Irish Grand National for Jonjo O'Neill and JP McManus.

Fifth and ninth in the last two Grand Nationals at Aintree, O'Neill has concluded that the 10-year-old does not see out the extended four and a quarter miles and that he will be better off back at Fairyhouse on Easter Monday.

Shutthefrontdoor has shown little in three starts this season but, as a result, is only rated 2lb higher than when successful back in 2014.

O'Neill said: "He doesn't get the trip at Aintree - he's tried it a few times - so he'll definitely try to go back and have a go at the Irish one."
