Drumacoo Goes Chasing The former Michael Hourigan trained Drumacoo makes his chasing debut in the Holzheim Fasching Mienzies Rock Munich Beginners' Chase at Lingfield this afternoon. The son of Oscar won three races in a row for Hourigan when landing a bumper and two hurdle races in the space of five weeks towards the end of last year. Hourigan was of the opinion that the gelding would come into his own over fences despite failing to win in two attempts between the flags and said after a maiden hurdle victory at Punchestown in October 2014: "I've been minding him and a chaser is what he'll be. He didn't win his point-to-point but that's not the end of the world and I always knew he would win his bumper and maiden hurdle." Drumacoo races in a first time hood at Lingfield and has the assistance of the in-form Nico de Boinville in the saddle.
