Dylan's double-1/20 and 22/1 A recent cast-off from Ger Lyons' yard after five unplaced runs, Amethyst Stone (22/1) clicked on his first start for Paul Flynn and the Gold Lads Syndicate when taking Cork's three-year-old handicap over a mile and a half.   The Almanzor gelding was wearing cheekpieces for the first time and, having reeled in Canon Law after that one had slpiied the field early in the straight, just held the late thrust of Millhone by half a length.  "Paul rang me earlier and told me he'd win, or go very close, said Dylan Browne McMonagle, doubleing up after the contrastingly-priced success of Alphonsus Liguori (1/20) in the preceding contest. "He said he was working well, thought the trip and ground would suit him well and he wasn't far wrong. "He jumped well from the gates and put himself in a nice position. "I think he was bought privately for the syndicate and Paul does well with these horses. He freshens them up, does a good job and his horses are flying." Additional reporting by Tom Weekes
