Star Of State is being backed as if defeat is out of the question with bet365 shortening the juvenile into 1/6 (from 1/3) for the Tattersalls Ireland Super Auction Sales Stakes (2.15).

Sun Goddess is also a warm order for the Group 1 Moyglare Stud Stakes (2.50) with general quotes of around 8/11.

Ryan Moore partners both of those short-priced favourites as well as Scandinavia who is a best-priced 1/3 for the Comer Group International Irish St. Leger (4.35).

There is a strong raiding party from the UK in the Group 1 BAR 1 Betting Flying Five Stakes (3.25) where American Affair and Cover Up have both been backed at double figure prices.

Sondad (6/1-7/2) is popular to record another big course success in the opening Irish Stallion Farms EBF Bold Lad Sprint Handicap at 1.45pm, while fellow UK challenger Coul Angel has also attracted support.
