Leading trainer Gordon Elliott has a new racing club where members can experience the thrills of owning a race horse at an affordable cost.

The club, appropriately named Gordon Elliott Racing Club, has been up and running for four weeks and already has three horses leased to run in the Club's green and black colours.

The current horses are dual winning 5-Y-O Mr Steadfast, a 7-Y-0 Bumper performer Faraway Mountain and a 3-Y-O gelding by Norse Dancer named Nordic Beat.

Club Membership costs €555 for twelve months if paid up front. Quarterly and monthly payment packages are also available but the cost is higher if you choose either of those options.

All members will receive a share of net prizemoney earned during the year and this return (Faraway Mountain has been in the money on both starts for the Club) is likely to reduce the overall cost of membership to an even more affordable level.

Dean Walker, the Club manager, said: "we launched just 4 weeks ago and we are on the way to 100 members. The more members the more horses we put in the club."

Members will be included in draws for owner tickets to the races each time Club horses are running and will have access to exclusive insights from Gordon Elliott on the progress of the horses on http://www.gordonelliottracingclub.com/

There will also be stable visits to see the horses work and organized days out at the races for members of the club.

Gordon Elliott added: "For many people being part of Racehorse Ownership is a dream or a goal, something that is not easily accessible to the everyday Racing fan, we aim to give everyone the chance to get involved with this wonderful industry for a minimal cost and we hope to provide you with an exciting and unique experience."

"We currently have 3 club race horses to run in both the UK and Ireland and plan to invest in more shortly."
