Local trainer Gordon Elliott completed a Navan treble today, achieving the feat in the €45,000 Listed Download The Tote App Foxrock Handicap Chase with the J.P. McManus-owned, Jack Kennedy-partnered Down Memory Lane (7/2).

The seven-year-old had trailed the field in July’s Galway Plate and today, returning from 129 days off, improved from mid-division under a patient ride to lead at the final fence, beating Search For Glory by 1.5 lengths.

Elliott, earlier successful with the Kennedy-partnered Road Exile and Gringo D’aubrelle under Michael Kenneally, reported "He jumped well although missed one, but Jack gave him a great ride. There is only one winning post and he (Kennedy) sat against him the whole way, so it was great.

"He's a good horse on his day, but this is great. I'll talk to Frank (Berry, McManus’ racing manager) and see, but I've no plan."
