Elliott juvenile could be Royal Ascot-bound A trip to Royal Ascot remains under consideration for Gordon Elliott's exciting juvenile Beckford. The son of Bated Breath made a big impression on his racecourse debut at the Curragh last month in the colours of the Nick Bradley Racing Club. He has since been snapped up by owner-breeders Newtown Anner Stud Farm of Fascinating Rock fame and Elliott is hopeful his youngster can make an impact at Pattern level. "He worked the other morning and he's in very good form," the trainer told At The Races. "It's good to get nice owners like that (Newtown Anner Stud) into the yard. "He'll either go to Royal Ascot or go to the Railway Stakes in the Curragh the week after. "He looks a nice horse and the form of his race has worked out well. "We're looking forward to running him and hopefully he can be lucky for his new connections. "I'd say he's definitely improved."
