Elm Park has been declared a non-runner for the Qipco 2000 Guineas at Newmarket this afternoon.

Andrew Balding's Racing Post Trophy winner had been trading at around the 14-1 mark, but trainer Andrew Balding has taken him out of the race due to ground, which is currently good to firm.

A field of 18 is now set to go to post for the first domestic Classic of the season, in which Gleneagles is the warm favourite for trainer Aidan O'Brien and jockey Ryan Moore.
