The Lope De Vega colt was found to be not quite right after finishing second to Gleneagles in last month's Classic at the Curragh. As a result, Lyons has put any plans on hold and is already excited about what he might achieve next year. "He had a very hard race in the Irish Guineas. He was very tired after the race, and then we found he was a bit stiff and a bit tight behind," said the Co Meath handler. "That puts Royal Ascot out. He'll have his mid-season break now and maybe it could be a blessing in disguise. He's really one to look forward to as a four-year-old."
