Ciaran Murphy is considering the Porterstown at Fairyhouse for staying-chaser Enjoy D'Allen's return to action.

The nine-year-old gelding was last seen finishing 12th in the Grand National at Aintree in April, his second crack at the Liverpool showpiece having unseated his rider at the first fence the previous year.

Murphy said: “He’s back and we’re not sure where he is going to go, but he’s probably about a month off a run.

"We’re very happy with him this year and he seems stronger, and we’re hoping for the rub of the green this season.

“Staying chases will be his game and hopefully he will be competitive.

“The Porterstown at Fairyhouse in early December could be his starting point, but we’ll see how he is.”

The son of Network has won two chases for the stable in addition to finishing third in the Grade B Paddy Power Steeplechase at Leopardstown in December 2021.
