The Andrew McNamara trained Enjoy The Dream recorded a third career win when putting in a solid display of jumping to land the opening Bar One Racing Rated Novice Chase at Tramore.

Successful on the Flat in her native Germany, the grey registered a shock 33/1 win in a Grade 2 juvenile hurdle at Fairyhouse in April 2023. However, she failed to add to those two victories in subsequent starts.

Runner-up to a now 130-rated chaser over this course and distance when last seen, the six-year-old was sent off 16/5 to continue her stables recent good run of form.

Tracking market leader Ma Belle Etoile over the first couple of fences, Brian Hayes went on after the latter made a mistake at the third obstacle.

Making the rest of the running, Enjoy The Dream saw off Ma Belle Etoile before the second last, keeping on well to hold the late run of Luminous Light by three-lengths.

Andrew McNamara said: "She's been running well through the winter and into the spring. I'm delighted she's got her head in front today and she's a decent filly.

"She is probably more of a winter type than this, but we decided to keep her going. She got a cut here the last day and that's why she was off for a bit. She'll keep going and because she didn't win last season, she is a novice again this year, so there should be a good few options for her. You'd like to think she'd compete in mares novice company.

"Today was the best she jumped. She was a bit keen and had been rushing her fences. Today, she seemed to settle a bit better and jumped better because of that. Hopefully she can keep going that way and there might be a bit of improvement in her.

"It just happened that she got to the front today and previously I would have had a worry that if she got to the front that she'd keep pulling and pulling. Today she settled reasonably well and it's probably a bit easier to do that on faster ground.

"I'll have a chat to Dr Heffernan now and see where we go. He likes the Flat and she's highly rated on it, so we could have a go on that before the end of the season."

He then added: "It's 10 years to the day since I retired from riding here and I have a bit of a fondness for Tramore."
