Europe aims to keep up perfect start Henry de Bromhead is keeping his fingers crossed Sizing Europe can maintain his unbeaten record over fences in the Craddockstown Novice Chase at Punchestown on Sunday. Having lost his way slightly over the smaller obstacles, the seven-year-old has looked the real deal in two starts over fences, most recently defeating Harchibald by 17 lengths. Connections had been considering a trip to this weekend's Open meeting at Cheltenham but the trainer is happy to be staying in Ireland for the time being. "I'm looking forward to running him on Sunday," said De Bromhead. "He's in great form. Alan and Ann Potts (owners) were happy to stay in Ireland at this stage of the season which is why he isn't going to Cheltenham and I'm happy with that too. "He was brilliant the last day, I was delighted with him and I couldn't have wished for any more. "Fingers crossed it's the same thing again. "We'll see how we go on Sunday but there's good races in Ireland so I don't know (if he would come over to Cheltenham before the Festival)." Seven go to post for the Grade Two contest with the likes of China Rock, Beau Michael and Dancing Tornado likely to provide Sizing Europe with a stern test.
