Europeans Head For Breeders´ Glory The biggest European raiding party for more than a decade will head to New York next week after a bumper entry of 22 was confirmed for the Breeders´ Cup at the pre-entry stage. Not since 26 went across to Churchill Downs in 1994 has there been such a powerful presence, but the promise of a fair track and climate similar to that at home has lured an impressive team representing no less than 14 different trainers. And with the whole card well supported, it could be only the second Breeders´ Cup in history to have maximum fields of 14 in all eight races. But unlike some previous years, the Europeans have all escaped the dreaded `reserve´ tag and are guaranteed of a run.(C) PA Sport
