FAIRYHOUSE WEDNESDAY IS WASHED OUT The National Hunt card scheduled for Fairyhouse this Wednesday has been cancelled due to the recent inclement weather. Manager Dick Sheil, said on Monday afternoon, 'We've had 45mm of rain over the last 24 hours and it is still raining heavily here. There are pools of water on the track and with more rain forecast on Tuesday we've unfortunately had to concede defeat.''We will be seeking another date weather permitting but no decision on that will be made today,' Sheil concluded.
