FURTHER SPONSORSHIP BOOST FOR IRISH RACING The Curragh Racecourse has acquired yet another new sponsor this season. Audi Ireland has signed up to support the valuable Group 2 Pretty Polly Stakes which will be run on Derby Saturday, June 28.Curragh manager, Paul Hensey said, We are delighted that Audi are to be associated with one of our most sought after races. We will work closely with them to ensure that the race will once again be of the highest calibre this year.The race has consistently attracted Europes finest fillies and mares during its 56 year history and previous winners include subsequent Group 1 winners Princess Patti, Hurry Harriet, Place dEtole and 2001 winner Rebelline.This years renewal boasts a total prize fund of 130,000 and the event takes centre stage on the middle day of the Budweiser Irish Derby Festival.
