Fahey hoping Lots gets nice National weight Trainer Paul Fahey is eagerly awaiting the publication of the weights this week for the BoyleSports Irish Grand National at Fairyhouse on April 6. The County Kildare handler is keen to see what mark the handicapper gives Lots Of Memories in the prestigious marathon handicap chase on Easter Monday. The eight-year-old was a smart staying novice hurdler last term and has made a promising start to his career over fences. A winner at Navan in December, he has competed in four Graded races, among them a third place behind Don Poli in the Grade One Topaz Novice Chase at Leopardstown's Christmas meeting. That form was given a boost when Don Poli won the RSA Chase at Cheltenham last week. "Lots Of Memories is perfect and we're looking forward to the weights coming out for the Irish National on Wednesday," said Fahey. "That has been on the back of our minds all season and we think he should have a nice racing weight. "He's in great form so it's fingers crossed with the weights."
