Locally-owned mare You Make Me Smile (11/2) recorded her third win at Sligo in the End Of An Era Handicap Hurdle over two and a half miles.

Owned by Trever and Ryan Hennessy from Coolaney, in partnership with trainer Pat Fahy's nephew Alan, the dual-purpose seven-year-old had won on this card last year and also on the Flat at Cleveragh in May 2025.

Ridden close to the pace by Danny Mullins, the winner led from three out and stayed on well from the last to see off Lariat by four and a quarter lengths.

Fahy's charge won the Flat at Galway three days after last year's hurdles win here, and is entered at Ballybrit (albeit 15 in the ballot) for the rescheduled Flat fixture on Tuesday.

"She made me smile anyway!," exclaimed Mullins

"She likes tracks like this with a stiff finish. From four or five furlongs out, you're climbing here, but I had a willing partner and she was very tough because the ground is starting to be hard work after the rain we've had this afternoon.

"I've been placed on her a couple of times and I'm delighted to get her head back in front for Pat."
