Fairy has mid-season target

Snow Fairy is set to return to action in the middle of the season after suffering an injury which forced her to miss the Dubai Sheema Classic last week.

The dual Oaks heroine, who also landed two big races in the Far East last season, could now make her comeback in the Prince of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot.

"Snow Fairy returned earlier in the week and she seems fine, we jogged her up and she's very good," said trainer Ed Dunlop.

"We are just going to run a few more tests on her and then we'll get a picture of what we need to do and where we are.

"It was obviously very disappointing having got her there for the injury to happen, but it does not appear to be too serious.

"We were always going to run in Dubai and then maybe go on to Hong Kong and then have a holiday before looking at Royal Ascot.

"Any injury is annoying, but she danced every dance last year so we will be looking towards the middle part of the season and onwards."
