Fairyhouse and Punchestown Facing Further Rain Ahead of Upcoming Meetings

Fairyhouse remains heavy following an additional 7mm of rain ahead of tomorrow’s scheduled card, with the forecast suggesting a further 25—30mm could fall over the next 36 hours.

An inspection has been set for 7:30am tomorrow to assess whether racing can proceed as planned.

Meanwhile, Punchestown has also seen testing conditions develop, now described as soft after receiving 12mm of rain since entries were made.

Forecasts indicate the potential for another 25mm of rain tonight and tomorrow, followed by an additional 10—15mm between Wednesday and Thursday.

Racing at Punchestown will take place on the inside hurdle track for the first circuit, before finishing on the main track.
