Fallon banned for Guineas meeting Kieren Fallon picked up a 10-day ban at Kempton that rules him out of the Guineas meeting. The former champion was suspended after the stewards found him guilty of not riding to the line in Wednesday's evening meeting on the James Fanshawe-trained Sukhothai in the racing at Skysports.com Handicap. Fallon's mount chased the winner Gower Rules throughout the final two furlongs but when all chance of victory had gone, Fallon eased his mount down. In the dying strides the 11/1 shot was caught for second right on the post by fast-finishing Watered Silk. The ban runs from April 27th to May 6th meaning he will miss both the 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket on April 30th and the following day's 1,000 Guineas. The 45-year-old has won each classic four times and has the chance to lodge an appeal.
