Fallon feels Frankel should head to US Kieren Fallon believes that Frankel should have his swansong at the Breeders' Cup at Santa Anita this November. There has been no shortage of advice proffered to Prince Khalid Abdulla and his racing manager Lord Teddy Grimthorpe regarding running plans for their star colt Frankel. Prior to York there were those prepared to knock his status as the world's highest rated horse given that he had never run beyond a mile but he proved his stamina for a longer trip when breezing past his rivals in the 10 furlong Juddmonte International Stakes. The Qipco Champion Stakes at Ascot in October is favoured for his final appearance but some observers believe that the son of Galileo has to run in the 12 furlong Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe in order to cement his reputation as a true legend of the turf. Fallon, however, believes that a trip across the Atlantic should be the order of the day: "For me there is only one race for Frankel and that is the Breeders' Cup Classic" he told his exclusive column in the Racing Post Weekender. "He would win that on the snaff and the Americans wouldn't know which way to turn" he added.
