Fallon sidelined with flu

Kieren Fallon has given up his rides at Lingfield and Kempton on Wednesday after coming down with flu.

The six-times champion jockey was booked for three rides at Lingfield's afternoon meeting and another three mounts at Kempton this evening, but he has instead taken the day off to try to recover from his illness.

The jockey's agent Gareth Owen said: "Kieren's got a touch of flu, but he's getting dosed up today and hopefully he'll back tomorrow.

"We'll just have to see how he feels in the morning and take it from there."
