Falmouth likely for Kate Elusive Kate is poised to take her chance in the Etihad Airways Falmouth Stakes following her fine return to the track at Royal Ascot. The John Gosden-trained filly finished a pleasing fourth in the Queen Anne Stakes on her first start since last October. Although the Prix Rothschild at Deauville could be an option, she appears more likely to run in the Falmouth at Newmarket on July 12. The daughter of Elusive Quality finished a half-length second behind Giofra in last year's renewal of the Group One at Headquarters. Patrick Barbe, racing manager for her owner Teruya Yoshida, said: "She is very well and I think she will next run in the Falmouth. "It was her first run for eight months so we think she will be better for it. There is also Deauville (Prix Rothschild). There is a few weeks between that and the Falmouth, but I don't think she will run in both races. "John Gosden said the Falmouth to Mr Yoshida, and I think that would be the plan."
