Faugheen back riding out

Champion Hurdler Faugheen is reported to be back riding out having missed last weekend's Morgiana Hurdle due to a bruised foot.

Speaking following his third winner at Thurles today, Faugheen's trainer Willie Mullins gave a brief update on his 2015 Champion Hurdle winner saying "Faugheen is back riding out."

Faugheen is absent since winning at Leopardstown last January and while he had been pencilled in for a return last weekend, was a late absentee when not declared for the Grade 1 Morgiana Hurdle at Punchestown on Sunday.
