Fontwell Wednesday Off Fontwell Park's meeting on Wednesday has been abandoned due to a frozen track. Course officials inspected at 8am but another night of freezing temperatures left them in no doubt about the outcome. "We've abandoned, it got down to minus seven last night," said clerk of the course Ed Arkell. "There is no prospect of the temperature getting above freezing today so we have no chance of racing. "Apart from about 18 hours the course has been frozen since Boxing Day."
