Forge suffers injury setback John Nicholson has had to draw stumps with promising performer Mill Forge after he suffered an injury. The eight-year-old won a maiden hurdle at Naas in fine style last October, adding to three prior placed efforts. Nicholson had high hopes of challenging for some decent prizes, but a setback has delayed those plans. He said: "He picked up an injury so he is going to be off until the backend of the year. It's disappointing but these things happen. "I'll have to depend on my old reliables for the summer. "All we can do is take our time with him. He has only run four races and nine miles and he has never been out of the money. "He is a born chaser and hopefully we will get him back in the autumn. He might get one more run over hurdles and then go straight chasing."
