Four-Up For Fitz

Outgoing jockey Mick Fitzgerald was in fine form at Fakenham as he booted home a 36-1 four-timer ? which included a treble for his boss Nicky Henderson.

The Grand National and Gold Cup winning jockey has stated his intention to retire after this year's Aintree Festival but many more days like this and he could be forced into a rethink.

Fitzgerald started the afternoon winning the 'Repeal Is The Real Deal' Beginners Chase on former smart flat performer Dancing Bay (8-11f).

However, he was pretty fortunate as The Cool Guy had the race in the bag before coming down at the last.

He then got the leg up from Henderson on Tarotino (11-4f) in the Hunter's Thriving EBF 'National Hunt' Novices' Hurdle, who followed up a win at Wincanton last time.

That was followed when he was seen to great effect on the 13-race maiden Be Telling for Tor Sturgis in the Today ? Scrap The Act Handicap Chase (For The Prince Carlton Challenge Cup).

The afternoon was concluded when the hot favourite Fiddling Again (6-5 favourite) made it two from two in the Countrysports For Countryside EBF/IDS Mares' Only Intermediate Open Flat Race (Qualifier).

The mare, a daughter of the smart Fiddling The Facts, looked tapped for speed turning in to the straight but quickened up in fine style for a three length win.
