France or Ascot next for Ribbons Ribbons has the option of two races at the end of the season after bouncing back to winning ways in the Blandford Stakes last weekend. James Fanshawe's classy filly held off Aidan O'Brien's Tapestry in the Group Two and will step back up to the highest level for her next outing. That will either be in the Prix de l'Opera, in which she was narrowly beaten by We Are last year, or at Ascot on Champions Day when she could tackle the boys in the Champion Stakes. "She was very good at the weekend," said Fanshawe. "Thankfully she's come out of the race in good shape and she's got two options for the remainder of the season. "She'll either run in the Prix de l'Opera on Arc weekend again or we'll have a go at the Champion Stakes at Ascot. "We need to sit down with the owners (Elite Racing Club) and decide the best race for her."
