Free tickets to UCD event UCD have kindly given us some free tickets to the latest in their 'Characters in Conversations' series which takes place from 6.30pm to 8.30pm on Tuesday 19th April in the Astra Hall at their Belfield campus. The event will feature Tracy Piggott interviewing former UCD graduate Dermot Weld about his life and career. Weld studied veterinary medicine at UCD, qualifying in 1970. Tickets are priced at €20 and can be purchased at www.ucd.ie/alumni or by phoning 01 716 1447, but we have some pairs to give away.
