Fundraiser For Family Of John Shortt Trainer Philip Dempsey is holding a coffee morning/stable open day tomorrow Saturday 12th August in memory of the late rider John Shortt. The event will take place between 9am - 3pm in Philip's yard at Kilkeaskin House near Carbury in Co. Kildare. Visitors will be able to watch horses working at 10am. All proceeds from the day will go directly to the family of the late John Shortt. John was a much-loved member of the racing community who died earlier this year on his 53rd birthday following a long battle with cancer.
