The ground is sure to be extremely testing at Cork this afternoon following a further 10mm of rain overnight at the southern venue.

The going remains heavy with the first on the seven-race McCarthy Insurance-sponsored card getting underway at 12.35pm.

The rain is due to clear later this morning to give a dry afternoon.

Meanwhile the going at Sandown for their 32Red Tolworth Hurdle meeting today is now soft (heavy in places) on the hurdle course and soft on the chase course after 10mm of rain.
