GERAGHTY SCOOPS FAIRYHOUSE BIG RACE RIDE

Former Irish Champion Barry Geraghty will team up with Limestone Lad in Sunday's ?75,000 Ballymore Properties Hatton's Grace Hurdle at Fairyhouse.

With regular pilot Paul Carberry committed to riding Scottish Memories for his boss Noel Meade, Geraghty will take the ride on the ten-year-old, who is bidding for his third success in the race and his 33rd career victory.

Speaking from home on Tuesday afternoon, Michael Bowe, son of trainer James Bowe said, 'I'm pleased to have Barry on board on Sunday and let's hope with all the rain forecast over the coming days that the meeting goes ahead as planned. The horse couldn't be in better form.'

Meanwhile Cork bookmakers Cashmans have installed Limestone Lad as their 8/11 favourite with Edward O'Grady's Ned Kelly, officially rated one pound inferior on 159, next best at 5/2.
