Galtres at York the target for Starlet Dermot Weld's promising filly Starlet is set for a trip to York next month for the Galtres Stakes. The mile-and-a-half Listed contest on August 21st was outlined as a next port of call for the twice-raced daughter of Sea The Stars. Starlet was a promising second to much more experienced stablemate Carla Bianca in a maiden at Navan in June that has worked out well, with the winner going on to land Listed honours in the Naas Oaks Trial. Starlet built on that encouraging performance when an easy winner of a mile-and-a-half maiden at Leopardstown recently. Weld said: "Starlet will probably go for the Galtres Stakes at York next month."
