Galway water ahead of today's action Galway watered the track overnight and the going is currently good to firm ahead of the final day of the three-day September meeting. 5mm of water applied was applied to the track last night although showers are also forecast for today. Action gets underway at 4.30 this afternoon with a seven-race jumps card up for decision. Listowel festival begins on Sunday and the course received 0.5mm of rain last night. The going is good to yielding on the Flat course and good for the national hunt track. The outside track at Listowel will be in use for national hunt races and for Flat races over a mile. The inside track will be used for Flat races up to a mile.
